2026: nanoCAD GeoSeries 26.0 with Enhanced Stability and Performance Optimization
On March 11, 2026, Nanosoft introduced nanoCAD GeoSeries 26.0 on the nanoCAD 26 Platform.
nanoCAD GeoSeries is a unified environment for processing engineering survey data and designing oil and gas pipelines.
Updates:
- Alignments and Profiles configuration
- Improved surfaces: Point elevations are defined on all runs of an alignment if multiple TIN surfaces are connected to the alignment at the same time.
- Improved stability of operation: eliminated situations leading to freezing during analysis of lateral slopes outside the surface boundaries.
- Improved migration of settings between projects - When you import shared settings from other drawings, missing text styles are automatically migrated.
- Geological Well Base Configuration
- The user interface has been updated: the "Add Database" button has been renamed to "Create Database."
- Saving user settings: fixed an error leading to reset of the order of soil characteristics specified by the user in the EGE description.
- Configuration "Geology"
- Create Alignment from Project Database and Create Alignment from XML File are included in the Geology configuration license.
- Calculation of foundation base elevation has been updated: elevations of route tops within the boundaries of the structure contour are additionally taken into account.
- Data Safety: Route well blocks are not deleted during the Disassemble Route operation, and probing plot elements are not deleted when using the Disassemble Profile function called from the context menu of the GCPGGeologyProfile object.
- Piping Configuration
- The functionality of the longitudinal profile has been expanded: the display of the working and receiving pits for trenchless laying methods (puncture, punching, microtonneling) with the ability to configure the leaders has been implemented.
- The obstacle accounting mechanism has been improved: the protective casings specified at the survey stage for underground obstacles are taken into account.
- Fixed work with specifications: fixed issues with duplicate data in piping specifications.
- The data display has been improved: the situation with ignoring relief points with the "Turned off visibility" sign by the design model has been corrected.
