nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction is the application for the construction industry allowing to automate development of design documentation of the KM brand.

Its main task — the fast and exact execution of design documentation on objects from metalwork which is strictly conforming to all-technical requirements of regulating documents.

2020

Version 20.1: updating of tools for creation of piles and the block of specifications

On September 10, 2020 goad the Nanosoft companythe Russian developer and the distributor of software for design – submitted the updated commercial version of the specialized solution for design of reinforced and metal concrete structures: nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction 20.1. The updated tools for design of piles, improvement of work with assemblies and the increased compatibility with the projects of steel concrete created in old versions do this release important for users of fresh and older versions of a product. nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction 20.1 is a specialized product which is intended for design automation of metal and reinforced concrete structures and also for execution of design documentation of such sections as KM and KZh.

Version 20.1

This large product update with numerous functional innovations and change of serial number. First of all it should be noted the processed Node command with a possibility of change of representation of objects and settings of numbering, the updated tools for creation of piles, updating of the block of specifications and also the improved support of the drawings executed in the Steel concrete program nanoCAD SPDS.

In this version we paid special attention to work of users with the Project manager and assemblies. In the Project manager an opportunity to copy assemblies together with types and objects on the drawing is implemented, and for transfer of objects between types there were special commands which do work in nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction more convenient and intuitive, – the project manager on development of the nanoCAD platform Sergey Spirin notes.

Version 20: consolidation of instruments of creation of metalwork and steel concrete in one general functionality

On April 28, 2020 the Nanosoft companythe Russian developer and the distributor of software for design – submitted the updated commercial version of the specialized solution of nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction. Now users can project reinforced and metal concrete structures in a unified environment.

nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction 20 is a specialized product which is intended for design automation of metal and reinforced concrete structures and also for execution of design documentation of such sections as KM, KZh, AS.

Consolidation of instruments of creation of metalwork and steel concrete in one general functionality of the program became the main innovation of the version. Now the user can create drawings of metalwork and steel concrete in one file of the project, to automatically generate necessary specifications for any section of the project.

2018

Version 1.2

According to information for November, 2018 nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction 1.2 is based on the nanoCAD Plus 10.1 platform among which key features the updated style of the user interface, compatibility with the western dwg-SAPR, speed and convenience of work, control of drawings, the improved autosave and many other things.

The structure of the program completely includes functionality of the nanoCAD SPDS application therefore NANOCADSPDS of the Metal construction 1.2 comprises all innovations of nanoCAD SPDS 9.0.

By preparation of the next version of nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction the main attention was paid to wishes of users. The project manager is made even more functional and visual. Additional switches are added to a dialog box of the Beam and a column. For design of small objects of KM setup of rounding precision of specifications is added.

At the same time, standard delivery of NANOCADSPDS of the Metal construction switches on add-on modules:

  • module 2D Parametrization;
  • module 3D modeling (ACIS);
  • module 3D modeling (C3D).

They are purchased at will. Control of these modules is exercised in the same way as in the nanoCAD Plus platform or the nanoCAD program of Mekhanik — through the special section of settings.

Product description

For November, 2018 as a graphic core of nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction serves the nanoCAD Plus platform, and as instruments of registration all built-in opportunities of nanoCAD SPDS are used. Output documentation remains in the DWG format for fast import / export of any drawing or the specification. In the program all opportunities of SPDS are available: instruments of registration (arrays of axes, marks of level, callout, weld joints) and many other things. Also there is a base of standard elements which contains more than 3000 parametrical construction objects: metal rolling, fixture and some other which are easily edited using the built-in mechanism.

Main features of nanoCAD SPDS of the Metal construction:

  • execution of drawings of types and cuts of metal constructions;
  • creation of different types of the elements and products included in metal constructions;
  • automatic formation of the sheet of elements and specifications of metal rolling.
  • All instruments of work with the program are located on one toolbar.

The flexible Project manager allows to create constructions of any number of metal-rolling products and with any nesting level:

  • In a window of the Project manager the added profiles with earlier set characteristics are automatically displayed: brand, designation and name.
  • The profile selected from the Project manager automatically is highlighted in the field of the drawing.
  • At change of parameters in the Project manager parameters of the corresponding elements on the drawing automatically change.
  • Assemblies and quantity of structural elements are calculated on the basis of structure of the drawing or set by the user manually.
  • Creation of several assemblies and merge of different assemblies in one is supported.
  • The structure of the project may contain data from several DWG drawings that allows designers to work on construction jointly.
  • For fast editing structure the side bar which in most cases successfully replaces a dialog box of the project is provided.

Column/beam

  • The choice of different profiles of metal rolling and material became in accordance with GOST.
  • Choice of a type of a profile (on top, from below, in front, etc.).
  • The choice of display of a profile (conditional, simplified, complete).
  • Input of parameters of geometry of a profile.
  • Task of shift of axes of a profile for an insert and binding to other structural elements.
  • Task of turn of a profile.
  • Choice of marking of an element (position or standard size).
  • Possibility of creation of own type and own marking of an element.

Plate

  • The choice of standard sizes of rolling and material became in accordance with GOST.
  • Task of shift of axes of a plate for an insert and binding to other structural elements.
  • Automatic purpose of marking of a plate (name or thickness).
  • Editing geometry of plates using special "handles".
  • Automatic formation of designation and calculation of weight.

Undercutting of profiles and mode of overlapping of elements

The Undercutting of Profiles command executes undercutting of a profile to the necessary length and under a necessary corner. In case of an error it is always possible to recover an initial type of a profile the Delete Undercutting command.

The command of Overlapping of elements replaces lines of a circuit of an element in places of overlapping with normal or shaped display. When moving structural elements on the drawing the display mode automatically considers new arrangement of elements.

Node

This command allows to create nodes from plans, schemes and cuts where parametrical elements of profiles are provided:

  • Automatic marking and numbering of nodes on the drawing.
  • Automatic undercutting of the profiles entering a node.
  • Automatic installation of lines of break in nodes.

Base of elements and specification

The base of elements well familiar to users of nanoCAD SPDS is complemented with parametrical objects of platforms, ladders, step-ladders, barriers and also parts of fastenings (bolts). These parametrical objects will be useful at execution of drawings of plans, cuts and nodes of metal constructions.

For any assembly unit it is possible to create automatically:

  • sheet of elements;
  • specification of metal rolling.
