On September 25, 2017 the Netapp company announced release of an array of Netapp E5700 Series.
NetApp E5700 Series
NetApp E5700 Series — hybrid a flash system. It contains the adaptive algorithms of caching of Netapp SANtricity OS supporting a broad spectrum of workloads of applications.
E5700 system supports a set of interfaces of hosts:
- 32Gb Fibre Channel,
- 25Gb iSCSI,
- 100Gb InfiniBand,
- 12Gb SAS
- 100Gb NVMe с InfiniBand.
2016: NetApp E2800
On September 8, 2016 the Netapp company provided to all-flash an array of initial Netapp E2800 level.
NetApp E2800 is focused on use in the enterprises of average scale of business and remote offices where simple, economic solutions for data analysis[1] are required[1].
According to statements of the company, use of an array helps:
- simplify IT infrastructure and lower operating costs;
- increase performance at data access and their analysis;
- receive array all-flash performance at the moderate price;

Description
Array of data storage of Netapp E2700 SAN - E2700 systems differ in simplicity and flexibility of management that allows IT personnel to focus on business development, and not just on data storage process control. Departments of information technologies can increase storage capacity in process of organization development, without the need for reconfiguration of the started applications.
Implementation of SAS with a capacity of 12 Gbytes, E2700 system sharply increases performance of applications at assessment on price relation and performance. A system is offered with the disks iSCSI with a capacity of 10 Gbytes and the disks FC with a capacity of 16 Gbytes. The Netapp AutoSupport program provides to users a possibility of control of all enterprise and contains the built-in means of analytics for proactive control. E5500 can support amount of memory up to 1.5 PBytes on one system, necessary for large-scale data processing systems.

The version of software for management of data storage of Netapp SANtricity for E-Series includes support of solid state drives as a cache, the number of network interfaces is expanded and new services of mirroring and replication are added. The SSD cache is capable to improve performance and to reduce storage costs of data. To the organizations which often face big and difficult data sets it will help to accelerate accomplishment of workflows. Use of SSD as a cache provides intellectual separation of levels of storage, quick access to important data of applications and high density of placement for long-term data storage.
