The tool for access control of NetWrix PrivilegedAccount Manager is available free of charge to an unlimited number of users (earlier in the free version no more than 50 exclusive accounts were supported).
This tool allows the organizations to perform audit and protection of administrative accounts in the Active Directory, on servers and other systems. At the same time storage of logins and passwords (for accounts of the administrator, service and the superuser) is performed in the protected place.
NetWrix Privileged Account Manager also allows to trace who and when used accounts of the administrator. The tool allows to leave through the protected web portal to get access and to support work of accounts of administrators, to guarantee centralized operation and audit of all exclusive accounts.
Functions of a product:
- Protection of exclusive accounts: all devices, servers and workstations have accounts with the unlimited rights. The program allows to store logins and passwords of such accounts in the protected place
- Centralized operation: The program stores all exclusive accounts in the centralized storage and allows only the predeterminated circle of users to get to them access. The program sets the unified sequence on access and updating of all exclusive accounts to the organizations
- Automated management of passwords: the program automatically updates passwords of accounts in compliance with the politicians of expiration of passwords admitted to the organizations. At the same time there is not only a change of an account, but also there is an updating of all affected services and applications using this account.
- Scalability in the organization: the program effectively works with thousands of exclusive accounts without decline in production. Accomplishment all automated transactions can be planned for after hours that influence on IT infrastructure was minimum.
