Nissan took a leading position in the segment of fully electric cars thanks to the model [[Nissan Leaf | Leaf]], which was released back in 2011, and Ariya is already the second electric car from this company. Ariya has been delayed several times, but the company says it is finally ready for delivery in 2022, and on November 17, 2021 opened reservations in the United States with final characteristics and prices. The automaker offers a car at a price of $46 thousand for the base version, which comes with front-wheel drive and an 87 kVt⋅ch battery. Unfortunately, Nissan has not yet revealed how fast charging will be for all models.

In mid-July 2020, the first electric crossover appeared in the official Nissan lineup. It was called Ariya.

The novelty is built on a new platform common to all brands of the alliance, created for electric vehicles. The model will be delivered to the European market in five versions, among which there are both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
