Apple began to sell the glucose meters connected to iPhone and Apple Watch

Apple gets into health sector more and more, selling the products focused on the consumer and embedding the obtained data in the Health application. However the One Drop glucose meter the only product for patients with diabetes which Apple sells in traditional retail stores.

Recently the company provided expanded predictive function of the application – now on the basis of a glyukometriya and the menu of the patient of One Drop is capable to predict glucose level in blood the next 8 hours. At this AI considers also administration of drugs: both oral, and insulin.

Besides, the One Drop application is supplied with Personal Health Assistant – a digital instrument for monitoring of drug intake, a power supply and physical activity and also sugar level in blood, arterial blood pressure, weight and other indicators. Such complex approach allows to avoid many complications of diabetes, developers claim.^[1]
