Oppo VOOC Chargers

2020: OPPO 125W, 65W AirVOOC, 50W mini SuperVOOC и 110W mini

On July 15, 2020 the OPPO company provided own technologies of fast charging: OPPO 125W, OPPO 65W of AirVOOC, OPPO 50W of mini SuperVOOC and OPPO 110W mini.

According to the developer, in the provided fast charging of OPPO with a power of 125 W the technology of a direct charge capable to fill up the battery of 4000 mAh for 41% in 5 minutes is used, and to load completely — in 20 minutes. The device is compatible to the previous protocols of fast charging of SuperVOOC and VOOC and supports other widespread standards, including 65 W of PD and 125 W of PPS. The system of fast gymnastics of 125 W is developed based on SuperVOOC with the modified structure, supports 20V/6,25A and is equipped with 10 additional temperature sensors which control process of charging and guarantee security of all chain.

According to OPPO, wireless charging of AirVOOC with a power of 65 W provides the speed exceeding indicators of many traditional wire solutions. AirVOOC is constructed based on own technologies of OPPO with separate swapping of a charge and parallel construction with two coils for increase in effectiveness of process. The device charges the accumulator with a capacity of 4000 mAh completely in 30 minutes. A system received five degrees of protection and is compatible to the Qi standard, emphasized in OPPO. The lower part of the charger is equipped with the semiconductor heat exchanger providing heat extraction. This solution allows to maintain the acceptable temperature of a back part of the smartphone and to avoid strong heating.

According to the statement of the producer, OPPO 50W mini SuperVOOC thick of only 10.5 mm supports not only VOOC, but also other widespread protocols – 27 W of PD and 50 W of PPS. Fast charging is compatible to different devices of third-party producers, including smartphones and notebooks. Engineers of OPPO managed to achieve the organization of the device allowing to make the body compact.

OPPO 110W of mini is the device developed without electrolytic condenser and using technology of high-frequency switch mode power supply. The two-level model provides the system of conversion of energy and temperature monitoring. At the same time dimensions of the charger do not differ from the 18 W standard adapter.
