The Optima group announced in May, 2013 an output to the market of a new solution "Engineering infrastructure of the DPC" designed to increase the level of energy efficiency of DPC. The concept of a product is developed by specialists of Optima Services — structural division of the Optima group which provides services of corporate IT outsourcing.
The solution can be interesting, first of all, for such customers as banks, Internet service providers and energy industry companies — they define new trends during creation of engineering infrastructure and designate priorities at design and construction of DPC. The main attention at the same time is paid to such parameter as energy efficiency.
In a basis of the solution "Engineering Infrastructure of DPC" the principle of a trigeneration and use of gas-piston power plants is underlain. Such approach to the DPC organization allows the consumer not to depend on interruptions in power supply or on a lack of the electric power at simultaneous autonomous heat supply and cold supply, explained in the company.
According to developers, the new solution of Optima includes all stages of creation of "turnkey" DPC — from design before installation and service. It consists of such technology subsystems as life support, protection, the automated monitoring and management of engineering subsystems, communications system.
In addition, the new product allows not only to save expenses on energy, but also increases fault tolerance of DPC. Trigeneratsionny installations for DPC are selected by specialists of Optima Services taking into account engineering infrastructure and the customer's wishes. Taking into account the permanent annual growth of cost of the electric power application of a trigeneration gives economic effect — cost reduction on heat, the electric power and cold supply twice, claim in Optima.
{{"If to speak about DPCs in which gas-piston power plants are used then in a case with them energy is distributed by tech-stub as follows: 1-5% go for conditioning, 1-2% make losses, and all the rest — 92-95% — are spent for maintenance of IT — the Head of Department of the engineering systems of buildings and data centers of Optima Services Yury Ojegov told. — In classical option of DPC receiving cold using compression refrigerators with the same performance in 1 MW requires 400 Kw. electric power. The difference taking into account rates for gas is considerable (1 rub 90 kopeks. KWh and 4 rub. KWh). Thus, energy consumption of DPC is reduced, and external power supply networks can be used as reserve".}}
The company also noted that the cost of the DPCs constructed by such principle is 2-4% more expensive. "This difference pays off for the first several years of work then the principle of double economy of expenses on energy comes into effect" — added to Optima.
