The Oracle corporation announced two new servers of an operator class, the rack Oracle Netra SPARC T3-1 server and a blade server of Oracle Netra SPARC T3-1BA ATCA in March, 2011. These servers are certified according to the NEBS standard 3 levels and offer telecom industry performance, scalability and energy efficiency of a product line of SPARC T.

The new Netra SPARC T3 servers expand the complete product portfolio of Oracle for the telecommunication sector including servers of an operator class and storage system, the application for support of operation of communication systems and service platforms. They provide easy migration and unsurpassed level of protection of investments thanks to full compatibility of different versions of the Oracle Solaris operating system at the level of binary codes.
