Oracle Order Management Cloud is the cloud software solution for collecting and registration of orders of sale and their execution.

On July 21, 2015 the Oracle company announced release of a cloud service of Oracle Order Management Cloud for support of sales process in a cloud environment.

The product is integrated with the product Oracle Global Order Promising Cloud. The integration purpose - improvement of processing of orders during all sales cycle. Previously integrated and on a centralized basis the managed politicians of order management (execution approval), a possibility of assessment of global goods availability and monitoring of execution of orders increase the level of customer satisfaction and provide profitability of orders.

    • to browse their statuses,
    • to see the report of exclusive situations on clients, goods or suppliers
    • to carry out profound studying of the provided data for obtaining more detailed information.

The solution of Oracle "from formation of the offer before receiving money from sale" (quote-to-cash) is the end-to-end business process integrating Oracle Order Management Cloud and Oracle Global Promising Cloud with Oracle CPQ Cloud and Oracle ERP Cloud services, connecting work of sales department, service of execution of orders and finance division.

The automated process helps to simplify transactions and to reduce IT costs, excepting bottlenecks and errors in the end-to-end process affecting functions of sales department, service of execution of orders and finance division. The solution is designed to increase overall effectiveness of sales that is a key factor for improvement of processes of work with clients, increase in income and profit increase. The integrated, flexible and scalable solution of Oracle allows the organizations to automate all business process.

2015: Order Management Cloud is upgraded

On November 5, 2015 Oracle, promoting satisfaction of requirements of difficult global supply chains, announced a number of innovations among which upgrade of a svervis of Order Management Cloud.

The cloud service of Oracle Order Management Cloud can support several sources of obtaining orders, such as Oracle CPQ Cloud, Oracle Commerce Cloud, systems of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or legacy systems now.

Contains the appendix also own built-in functions of obtaining orders and price calculation and also a configurator. All these opportunities can be used for service and order management in different channels. Oracle Order Management Cloud supports management of accomplishment of orders on the Oracle SCM Cloud platform and also in several external systems. The application supports difficult execution threads, such as configuring flows by request (configure-to-order), direct deliveries from a warehouse of producer (drop-ship), flows of "back-to-back" and flows of internal transfer of materials (internal material transfer).
