2021: Orange Smart Track Presentation
The international service provider Orange Business Services on April 12, 2021 announced the addition of the real-time industrial positioning service Orange Smart Track to the product line for the Russian market. The solution allows you to reduce the risk of an emergency, prevent industrial injuries, increase labor productivity and the quality of labor management.
The Orange Smart Track service was developed in accordance with the basic principles of the public education campaign "Health Responsibility Labor," launched by the Ministry of Labor of Russia at the end of 2020 as part of the Safe Work subprogramme of the program "Promoting Employment." The campaign is aimed at improving the safety culture in the country and will contribute to the introduction of new approaches in the field of labor protection.
In addition, Orange Smart Track is based on the basic principles of the global program to improve road safety and the production of Vision Zero, developed by the International Social Security Association (ISSA). The concept of "zero" injuries implies the prevention of emergency at work through the use of intelligent technologies.
High-precision positioning service Orange Smart Track takes into account all the needs of Russian industrial enterprises for labor protection, including safety requirements according to LTIFR indicators (frequency factor of injuries with temporary disability). The solution determines the position of personnel, transport and cargo with an accuracy of 30 cm, visualizes data on location and movement, collects and processes reliable information about incidents.
Allows you to control whether an employee uses personal protective equipment or specialized equipment; detects and signals if a person has fallen or has been without movement for a long time. The vehicle control control function provides access only for authorized users, avoids collisions of specialized vehicles with each other, cargo and personnel.
With Server a web interface for object tracking and reporting, it can be deployed to both the customer cloud and Orange. The real-time industrial positioning service itself consists of anchors (base stations), radio markers for transport and employees made in various form factors, as well as platform. ON Orange Smart Track uses Ultra-Wide communications Band (UWB) technology to exchange data. Service operators and administrators can manage it remotely. The solution allows personnel to use the SOS button.
Orange Smart Track adapts easily to the enterprise IT landscape and scales quickly if needed. It can be used both inside industrial premises and outside buildings. Allows you to monitor the presence of personnel in hazardous areas. The equipment is designed for operation under extreme conditions both at very high (up to + 85) and at very low temperatures (up to -40).
