Integration with Apple Health

On December 2, 2021, Ornament Health AG announced that an updated version of the Ornament preventive medicine application had the opportunity to integrate with the Apple Health application. Now users of iPhones will be able to receive more accurate recommendations not only based on their laboratory analyses, but also their symbiosis with lifestyle, physical activity, sleep quality, nutrition and other useful data.

In an integrated version with Apple Health, Ornament users will be able to receive more accurate health recommendations based on their lifestyle, physical activity, quality of sleep and nutrition. For example, if the profile does not have enough tests to evaluate the cardiovascular system, but at the same time, according to Apple Health, the owner leads a sedentary lifestyle, eats a lot of fatty foods, and his pulse in a calm state is above average, then even without additional blood tests, Ornament will be able to indicate potential risks and timely offer to undergo cardiology check. Information about the menstrual cycle of a woman will allow a more accurate interpretation of the results of hormone tests.

Apple Health aggregates a lot of healthy data from various apps installed on the user's smartphone. After the Ornament update, you must allow the application access to Apple Health data, and all information is automatically integrated into the user profile. If, for some reason, the user does not want the applications to share data and does not give permission, the exchange will not happen, and both applications will continue to work offline.
