PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS

In December, 2014 the Russian company Esri CIS (the official distributor in the CIS countries of Esri company, the supplier of geoinformation technologies) and OSIsoft company, the system provider of operational analytics, announce a release of the new PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS software product allowing to display the stream data of real time obtained from the measuring devices set on production on cards of Esri. According to experts, consolidation of real-time data and geodata can bring to users benefit in millions of dollars.

PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS represents completely ready-made solution allowing to place real-time data in a geographical context that gives an informative, intuitive picture of a current status of production process. Respectively, the user has a new powerful tool for fast adoption of efficient solutions taking into account features of the place of emergence of these or those events. Data mapping of real time on the card helps to increase quality of operational planning, management of production assets, reporting and observance of requirements of regulating authorities.

Let's note that consolidation of space and time response characteristics of processes considerably improves the level of awareness not only of heads, but also all persons participating in decision making; allows to see patterns and to establish their reasons which could just be not noticed. In particular, the condition monitoring of assets which is carried out in real time and with a binding to their location will allow to use more rationally available resources, can be used for planning of their placement and scheduling, tracking of working conditions, prevention of failures, etc. In general, the new technology does production safer and effective.

The product underwent approbation in Dong Energy – one of the world companies (the headquarters of the company is in Denmark), which is engaged in electricity generation from renewable sources. According to the development plan, by 2020 Dong Energy will locate more than 1.800 commercial sea wind farms. According to the estimates of the company, use of PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS for monitoring and management of the generating assets will allow to save on their service up to 20 million euros a year.
