PTK Tornado-N (prototype of the National platform of industrial automation, NPPA) is the system of the class DCS (Distributed control system) for the enterprises of the sphere of power, generation of energy, power supply. Conceptual basis of a system - "virtual controllers".
According to the statement of developers, using development of Tornado-N it is possible to create full-function control and management systems for technology processes of any complexity in short terms.
2018: Basic product NPPA — ПТК "Tornado"
- As of March, 2018 PTK "Tornado" - Importooperezhayushchaya the basis for solutions NPPA realizing the concept of Industrial Internet and "virtual controllers".
- "Virtual controllers" - the Programs performed in a cloud computer pool, interacting with all subsystem of input-output through the general peer-to-peer high-speed IP network that provides the homogeneous, distributed high-speed and standard data transmission medium, integrating all elements of a system at one level.
- NPPA the Platform technology applicable in the different fields of the industry.
2016
"Tornado-N" supports InfoWatch ASAP
On December 15, 2016 the Tornado Modular Systems company announced tests of a hardware and software system for automation of the industry of "Tornado-N" with a prototype of a hardware-software complex of information security support (cybersecurity) of the technology InfoWatch ASAP systems as a result of which the correctness of joint work is confirmed.
As a part of tests an inspection of key functions of the preliminary version of the InfoWatch ASAP complex for information security support of an APCS - modules of detection of invasions, the analysis of security, control of integrity of data, firewalling and control of technology processes is carried out.
The solution of InfoWatch Group proved the efficiency within information security support of an APCS, constructed based on PTK Tornado-N. Sergey Kulagin, technical director of the company Tornado Modular Systems |
The certificate of compatibility was signed by Oleg Serdyukov, the CEO of Tornado Modular Systems LLC and Natalya Kasperskaya, the president of InfoWatch Group.
Green light of the prime minister - to development of the program of automation
On June 30, 2016 the prime minister Dmitry Medvedev approved development of the program of automation of the Russian industry.
The Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev examined developments of the Siberian innovators during the trip to Siberian Federal District and charged to heads of the profile ministries (Minpromtorg, the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, Ministry of Transport) to provide support of the key directions.
The decision to form the working group on program implementation of reindustrialization of economy of the Novosibirsk region and to approve its "road map", with participation of the interested bodies of federal executive power and the government of the Novosibirsk region is made.
By separate point in order the "National Platform of Industrial Automation" project is mentioned.
Creation of such platform - very useful case which is necessary for our industry and power. |
At the request of the Prime Minister the interested bodies of federal executive power and the organizations participating in the project should handle till September 26, 2016 an issue of inclusion in an investment program of JSC "Russian Railways" of the project on automation of technology processes on the basis of a single platform using domestic developments.
2015
"PTK Tornado-N"
On October 6, 2015 within the XI Novosibirsk innovation and investment forum the Tornado Modular Systems company presented the NPPA platform where "Tornado-N" acts as a software and hardware complex prototype for automation of productions.
The architecture of a prototype of NPPA (PTK "Tornado-N") is based on the concept of "virtual controllers":
- the cloud computer pool in which "virtual controllers" are performed is provided by the industrial computers IPC Gridex 4 or their redundant pairs;
- the peer-to-peer high-speed network is provided by the duplicated network of IEC standard 802.3 with the ModBus UDP/TCP protocol;
- the subsystem of input-output is provided by modules USO (MIRage) like "the intelligent terminal block" with the duplicated Ethernet-100 interface.
- Automated workplaces of operation personnel serve for visual display of process and management of technology equipment by means of symbolic circuits. There are specialized video frames for visualization of protection, blocking, signaling, trends. Means of engineering automated workplaces perform tuning, diagnostics and testing, calibration of the systems of measurement, recovery and backup of a program part of a complex, report generation and also expansion and development of all complex;
- servers store and accumulate the database of statuses of an object, serve for communications with external networks and web services. In architecture of PTK "Tornado" servers are not elements of an operational circuit that provides independence of management of computers of the top level (the automated workplace, etc. servers);
- ancillary equipment includes electric power supplies according to the 1st category of special group in classification PUE, network routers, ZIP, etc.
According to organizers, the idea of creation of the NPPA project "was born from chaos. Chaos in which at the moment there is a domestic market of automation". In modern conditions large layers of economy of the Russian Federation need means of automatic equipment. 90% of such products — import. "Nevertheless, the company has no purpose in import substitution for the sake of import substitution, - the development director of the company Kamayev Mikhail says. - Interest in products should be economically reasonable. If we made a product, but nobody uses it, so not the user is guilty — we are guilty". – Mikhail Kamayev emphasizes.
IPC Gridex 4 (2015) computer
A system has a number of competitive properties:
- lower acquisition value;
- increases reliability and fault tolerance;
- service life of 15-20 years;
- it can be operated in "tough" industrial conditions;
- assumes simple personnel training;
- conforms to all requirements imposed to management systems of KVO (resistance to any single failure, "hot" replacement on the working equipment, high high-speed performance, a large number (tens of thousands) of input-output channels;
- gives the chance of easy integration with other information networks.
Such structure helps to manage the most complex distributed systems in real time, to use effective control algorithms and regulations taking into account design and technology features of the equipment, to implement all protection, necessary for safe work of an object, and blocking, to duplicate and reserve all components of a system for stabilization to any single failure, to diagnose separate components and the whole systems, to register the history of functioning of an automation object for follow-up and analysis.
