2022: Adaptation of the Russian messenger under "Aurora" 4.0

On January 24, 2022, the Company "Special Technology Center" announced the release of an updated version of the corporate messenger "PostLink," adapted to work with the generation of OS Aurora 4.0.

PostLink - a corporate solution aimed at customers who need to maintain the confidentiality of correspondence and transmitted data. The server component of the solution can be deployed on client hardware, and the availability of client software for all major platforms and the ability to integrate with other enterprise systems make the updated PostLink competitive in the software market. PostLink on the updated platform Aurora 4.0 has the functionality of a modern corporate messenger:

• Group and individual chats are supported
• It is possible to transfer files (including documents, images, etc.);
• Users can also make audio and video calls, including group calls;
• You can record and send audio messages.

• mutual authentication of subscriber terminals and servers is applied based on systems with a public key length of 2048 bits;
• information is transmitted and stored on the server only in coded form using temporary session keys, wherein all encryption keys are different for an arbitrary sender-receiver pair;

2019: Russian messenger adapted to Aurora

Messenger PostLink became the first Russian corporate software of this type with the implementation of voice calls under the Aurora mobile OS (formerly Sailfish).

The corporate messenger was PostLink adapted for the Aurora mobile OS. According to the developers, PostLink was the first such solution for which the voice call function is implemented in the domestic OS. The version of the messenger for the Aurora operating system has the same functionality as the PostLink version for other platforms. In particular, users can register new accounts and log in to them by phone number, edit the list of contacts, send requests for adding to contacts, confirm the registration of new users, navigate and search the list of contacts, view extended information about them, add comments to profiles for further quick search^[1].

In addition, users of the Russian corporate messenger can view and edit personal data, receive and send text messages and files of any format, receive push notifications about new messages. It is noted that the PostLink under the control of the Aurora OS implemented convenient navigation on the accepted files, there is an option to organize group chats (conferences), as well as a moderation and administration mechanism, audio calls and protection of the application with a password, pin code or graphic key.

PostLink can operate in both public and corporate mode. In the first case, users can register themselves in the application and communicate with other participants, provided that they know the telephone number of the interlocutor. Enterprise mode assumes control over users by the system administrator. In this case, registration of "guest" accounts is available only at the invitation of users already registered, trusted and confirmed by the administrator. The enterprise mode of operation implies the integration of server software with domain systems (for example, Active Directory or LDAP) to form a ready-made contact list and simplify user registration and accounting.
