Start of Promile.me was preceded by the period of development and testing of the idea and a prototype on potential clients — all process took about nine months. Founders polled one hundred practicing interior designers from around the world and brought together optimal service of project management which meets their daily needs. Also for this period founders involved several eminent teachers of Milan design academy Domus in the board of trustees of Promile.me.

A part of the amount was enclosed by Kirill Starodubov, a part were attracted from angel investors — Alexey Kuznetsov (the managing partner of Finacom Venture Capital), PR- the consultant Olga Budnik (the head of Tech PR) and the architect and designer Advanced Construction Company. Later Elena Gertsberg (the managing partner of Adar Advisors) joined them. Also the company conducts negotiations with venture funds concerning a sowing round which will make previously 500 thousand euros.
As of May, 2019 service works in Milan, Turin, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
