2020: The second generation of FlashArray//C
On August 27, 2020 the Pure Storage company, the IT company providing to DWH as service (storage as-a-service) in the multicloud world announced the second generation of FlashArray//With which allows to reduce the cost of the workloads focused on capacity and to eliminate need for use of outdated hybrid disk arrays. All-QLC an array of data storage of FlashArray/C is founded on Pure DirectFlash technology and a software platform of Purity which provides performance and economy of the corporate level.
According to the company, thanks to the next generation of FlashArray//C Pure expands possibilities of QLC, providing a flash-array of all-QLC of a corporate class. FlashArray//C is available in variations of the modules QLC DirectFlash with an amount of memory of 24.7 TB and 49 TB. It makes all-flash an array available to scenarios of use which were earlier possible only in the presence of the rotating disks or ineffective hybrid solutions, such as backup and data protection, environments of testing/development and consolidation of workload.
The line of arrays of Pure FlashArray simplifies and upgrades IT activity, allowing users to place all the data on one flexible platform of services. FlashArray//With is suitable for the working tasks focused on capacity, and DWH of FlashArray//X for workloads – and all this using block DWH in a cloud of Cloud Block Store. The general services of data processing on the FlashArray platform allow to get quickly data access, to manage them and to ensure their safety at different workloads in different regions of the world and also in clouds. Integrating data from resource-intensive scenarios of use (for example, storages of backup copies and consolidation of workload) and scenarios of use (for example, cloud databases) in one place.
FlashArray//C is one of products in Pure portfolio. DWH allows users to consolidate the workloads and to simplify data storage using performance all-flash. Replacement of the disk and hybrid systems by FlashArray//C reduces costs for the space necessary for placement of racks, reduces costs for the electric power, cooling, operation and maintenance, and existence of storages allows the enterprises to redirect the IT resources from accomplishment of routine work on providing different services.

On September 18, 2019 the company Pure Storage announced expansion of a lineup of arrays FlashArray created to provide to clients modern experience data management. FlashArray//C is the flash array optimized on capacity, created to issue jellied performance with reliability characteristic of the high-critical systems, at the disk price. As of September, 2019 the FlashArray//C system is available to all buyers and is optimized for a flash memory of QLC.
