Application of standard solutions based on GPS/GLONASS/GSM is not always effective – for example, in hardly accessible areas or areas with the absent or undeveloped communications infrastructure, during the holding mass actions, coordination of actions at mitigation of consequences of emergency, etc. To emergency services and authorities the complete solution which is guaranteed providing communication of command center with divisions "on places" is required. Such solution ready to implementation in any region of Russia, the monitoring system based on TETRA-GLONASS technologies is.
The TETRA-GLONASS technology integrates possibilities of the standard of a professional radio communication of TETRA having a number of important functional advantages in comparison with public service networks and satellite positioning of GLONASS. The basis of a monitoring system is formed by the wearable and mobile exchange service stations TETRA-GLONASS released by NPO RIK-Sistemy under the GAMMA brand. Terminals can be used for an operative voice communication and monitoring of movements of people and vehicles of any appointment. Data transmission is possible as in the stationary dispatching center (for example, the situational center of the governor), and in a mobile dispatcher station.
The important advantage of the monitoring system developed by specialists of the company of a RIC-system – its flexibility: depending on needs of the customer, complexity of a task, the territory of a covering, the number of subscribers different solutions - using land infrastructure of TETRA network, so-called "easy solutions" (without use of base stations), deployment of mobile communication hubs, etc. can be applied.
