In 2017 the Rosneft reported that it created the Eurasia's first industrial simulator of hydraulic fracturing (HF) "RNGRID" to provide technology independence of the company in the field of computer simulation and to increase efficiency of transactions GRP.
Research works on creation of the unique software product were carried out by specialists of corporate institute of RN-Ufanipineft company (enters a corporate scientific and project complex).
"RN-GRID" provides accomplishment of all transactions and engineering calculations necessary for design of GRP: loading and visualization of initial data of large volume, creation of geomechanical model of layer, the analysis of diagnostic downloadings, calculation of design and the analysis of actually performed operations GRP using the extensive database of process liquids and proppant for GRP.
The mathematical model of the RN-GRID simulator is based on the concept of Planar3D which allows to describe most precisely a complex geometry of the crack arising in breed when carrying out GRP. It profitable distinguishes "RN-GRID" from the western commercial analogs most of which uses the simplified approaches.
Unification of design process of GRP due to the application "RNGRID" creates conditions for formation of a common information space on all operations GRP with a possibility of the subsequent analysis and intellectual processing (Big Data) performed in the Company.
