2019: The software development "RN-Petrolog" for data processing of geophysical surveys of wells
On October 4, 2019 it became known that specialists of RN-Bashnipineft LLC and TPRC LLC (enter a corporate scientific and project complex of Rosneft) started the project on creation of a corporate petrophysical software package for processing and interpretation of these geophysical surveys of wells (GSW) "RN-Petrolog".
As expected, the knowledge-intensive software (S) will reduce the sanctions risks connected with use of foreign software in the field of processing and the analysis of geophysical and petrophysical data.
In the concept of the development "RN-Petrolog" the algorithms corresponding to relevant trends of digital petrophysics and intelligent data analysis are put (Big Data, Machine Learning). The developed petrophysical software package is focused on large-scale use of service functions and technologies of processing of GIS, including domestic hi-tech methods.
Deep automation of routine procedures (harmonization, normalization, coordination of logging data), programmable intellectual models of decision making (digital assistants for the specialist interpreter), modern algorithms of data processing – all this will allow to increase efficiency of petrophysical maintenance of geological exploration and development of oil and gas fields.
Implementation of industrial RN-Petrolog version is planned for 2022. By this moment specialists of Rosneft will develop the main functionality allowing to provide petrophysical support of processes of investigation, development and monitoring of fields.[1]
