2025: Product Announcement

In May 2025, Intehros introduced the new ROIN A80 robot, designed to work in difficult mining conditions, including the construction of tunnels. A distinctive feature of the new development was the use of rotary actuators instead of traditional hydraulic cylinders, which made it possible to increase the accuracy and smoothness of movements by 20%.

The new robot is specially designed to work in low and narrow spaces: tunnels, narrow corridors and converters. Remote control provides the ability to carry out work operations at a safe distance, which is especially important when working in hazardous mining conditions.

ROIN A80

The technical equipment of ROIN A80 includes 5 FullHD high-definition cameras, which provide the operator with a 360-degree circular view of the working area. The robot is capable of functioning in a wide temperature range - from -40 ° C to + 80 ° C, as well as at humidity up to 80% at a temperature of + 25 ° C, which makes it suitable for use in various climatic conditions.

One of the key advantages of the new model is compatibility with more than 30 types of attachments. On the tip of the boom, a hydraulic quick lift is used, which does not require the presence of an operator near the machine when changing tools, which increases safety and efficiency of work.

The robot boom provides more uniform movement over the entire range and an extended range of scrap thanks to the use of actuators instead of hydraulic cylinders. "ROIN A80" is also presented in radiation-resistant and explosion-proof design, which expands the scope of its application in especially dangerous conditions.

The engineering solution includes a hybrid drive that combines an electric engine and an internal combustion engine, which provides flexibility in choosing an energy source depending on operating conditions.[1]
