Personalize search, buy tickets safely

On December 9, 2020, Rambler Group announced that Rambler/Cash Desk had updated its mobile application. Simple and convenient, it allows you to safely and quickly purchase tickets anywhere and anytime. Already available for download in the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery.

On the main screen, which is now called "In Trend," you can watch cards not only films, but also popular concerts, theater productions, as well as find out the schedule of lectures, excursions, museum exhibitions and buy a ticket in a couple of clicks.

The film cards themselves have been completely updated and have become more informative. They have everything you need to make a decision about watching: a trailer, a year of release, duration, genre, age restrictions, photographs, acting, directorial compositions and the famous Poster rating.

A dynamic search appeared in the Events tab - just enter the first few letters of the name. In addition, developers added quick filters to this section that allow you to personalize your search and find even more interesting events. For example, the choice of "Premiere" will show only the most recent, and with the help of "IMAX," "3D," "Films in the original language" you can quickly decide on a specific session and cinema.

Rambler/Cash Desk added a preview of the repertoire to the Places tab. Previously, only a list of cinemas nearby was available to users of the mobile application, and now they can immediately get acquainted with the schedule of the place for the next two weeks and choose a specific session right on the city map.

The user profile has become more individual. Thanks to your personal settings, you can choose not only the theme of the application - light or dark, but also save your favorite events and places, safely manage your bank and bonus cards, set up notifications about the release of new films to change cities and much more.

Rambler/Cash Desk also improved the Live Ticket technology, which allows you to freely pass into the cinema control area without printing or scanning the ticket. When buying, it is automatically uploaded to the application, so it is enough for the user to simply show it on the smartphone screen to go to the hall.

In addition, the updated mobile application "Rambler/cash desks" allows you to share with friends a schedule of sessions, selected places and information about films through messengers and social networks.

Possibility of payment by QR code via PSU

Rambler/Cash Desk, one of the Russian online services for the sale of tickets for events, has connected to the Express Checkout System (SBP). Rambler Group announced this on November 25, 2020. You no longer need to manually enter the data of the bank card, it is enough to scan the QR code.

Among the main requirements of users, speed occupies a key place, including when paying for services. The Rambler/Cash Desk is constantly working to improve the user experience using convenient tools. Connecting to the Express Checkout System opened up an additional opportunity for us - payment using a QR code, which allows us to optimize the client path at times and, thereby, significantly save users time. We also plan to automate existing options and services and create new ones to make the use of the Rambler/cash desk even more comfortable for our customers.

To pay for an order using a dynamic QR code on the desktop, it is enough to select the "QR Pay SBP" option in the "Payment Method" section and direct the smartphone camera to the code. The user will automatically go to the bank application, where only check the amount and confirm the payment. If the purchase of tickets takes place through a mobile browser, the Rambler/cash desk will automatically redirect to the bank application without scanning the QR code.

Payments through the SBP instantly go to the seller's account, and tickets immediately come to email. Tickets are returned as quickly - money is instantly transferred to the account from which the payment was made.
