On April 6, 2021, Reksoft, one of the Russian developers of digital solutions, announced the launch of a modular CMS solution (Content Management System) on Java - ReksoftCMS. The product is focused on creating internal corporate portals.
Creating and supporting high-load portal solutions of various types is one of the specializations of Recsoft. Among our customers in this area are large retailers, transport and logistics companies, banks, telecom operators, fuel and energy enterprises. Most enterprise systems of large companies are developed in Java. From our experience, we have seen that existing box solutions often carry redundant functionality that is not needed in such a volume for most tasks, but its availability imposes certain restrictions on developers. Each time we solve this problem of integrating CMS with backend solutions in Java, we have to make the same modules or adapt to existing proprietary CMS. This requires additional effort and complicates the overall paradigm of systems. First of all, the developed CMS was tested when creating the internal corporate portal "Rexoft." As of April 2021, the system consists of modules: HR, communications, working environment and technical services.
The HR block includes: an organizational structure with a list of employees, vacation calendars and corporate events, widgets about birthdays, new employees, etc. The communication block includes several thematic news feeds with a widget for the most important events, a question-answer system and corporate surveys, a photo gallery. Unit of working environment is represented by reports of working time fixation, monitoring of working infrastructure, matrix of competencies of employees. Technical unit includes modules of authorization, rights management, integration module for connection of new units and administrative unit.
CMS is easily integrated with other internal systems that are data sources for it. A full-fledged end-to-end search is built into the system.
