2020: Completion of tests of BRTC "Sadko"
The company of the Russian Space Systems Holding (RKS, part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) JSC Research Institute of Precision Devices (NII TP) completed the tests and handed over to the customer the last of the next three onboard radio engineering systems (BRTC) Sadko for Gonets-M. communications spacecraft. These satellites are the basis of the Honets-D1M multifunctional personal satellite communication system (ISPS), designed to transmit data and provide services to subscribers. This was reported to the RCC on December 24, 2020.
NII TP manufactures equipment and develops communication protocols for Gonets-M communication satellites, which form a low-orbital constellation of ISPSS spacecraft. The company creates software and hardware for central and regional stations, a communication complex control center and a system control center. Also, the TP Research Institute, together with the Gonets Satellite System JSC, produces subscriber terminals of various modifications to provide communication at mobile and stationary facilities, as well as for personal use.
Since 2017, the TP Research Institute has manufactured nine sets of BRTK designed for Gonets-M spacecraft and delivered them to the Information Satellite Systems JSC named after Academician M.F. Reshetnev. " In 2020, we completed the tests of the next three Sadko BRTC and handed them over to the customer, we are preparing for the production of the next six sets, which are supposed to be delivered by 2024-2025. |
The multifunctional personal satellite communication system "Gonets-D1M" provides personal communication (text and alarm messages), the transfer of telemetry data from monitoring objects, including the coordinates of subscribers GLONASS of systems/and GPS files of various extensions. The system is capable of transmitting information from anywhere. Russia Gonets-D1M provides monitoring at a low cost of subscriber services.
