2020: Exit of release of Romax Nexus R20

On June 15, 2020 the KADFEM of Si — Ah-Es company announced an exit of release of Romax Nexus R20 – ecosystems of applications with the possibility of cloud computing developed by Romax Technology company. It allows to model products and processes throughout all design cycle – from development of the concept before detailed modeling and creation of reports. The platform has ability to integrate with CAD systems and allows to create products with optimum characteristics without the need for carrying out numerous iterations.

In 2019 the ecosystem of the Romax Concept, Enduro, Spectrum, Energy, Spin and Evolve applications united in the Romax Nexus platform was provided. In 2020 updating of functionality affected all packet of products, and some of them are available in several applications at once, KADFEM of Si - Ah-Es" noted in ".

In Romax Concept, software for modeling of the electromechanical systems of transmission at the initial stages of design, the functionality of a modeling tool of vehicles is expanded. It allowed to make it easier in use and also to add a feature for comparison of more various constructions in an arsenal. The model of variable rigidity of the bearing is also improved, results of modeling became more exact, the developer claims.

In Romax Enduro for the strength analysis and optimization of the electromechanical systems of transmission calculation of the intense deformed status of teeths of a gear wheel is updated. In particular, for simplification of comparison with an experiment calculation made by virtual tensiometers includes calculation of tension in normal and also in transverse section. Besides, the variables, actions and results which are generally connected with the analysis of teeths of a gear wheel and tension in a gear tooth leg, parametrical calculations and batch processing of data are added.

In Romax Energy for forecasting of efficiency and thermal calculations of a mechanical part of electromechanical transmission three additional methods of modeling of power losses appeared: according to ISO/TR 22849: 2011 (E) for forecasting of efficiency of conic and gipoidny cogwheels on the basis of assessment of a profile of tooth, sliding and foaming of oil; modeling of losses on hashing of oil on Changenet (2007 and 2011) for exact forecasting of losses for hashing; and the patented model for calculation of bearing friction which considers all geometry of the bearing, operating conditions, distortions and loadings, and detailed properties of coupling of lubricant.

In Romax Spin, the specialized tool for complex modeling of bearings, function of assessment of subsurface tension is expanded an opportunity to work with rolling bearings. It will be interesting to suppliers of bearings and OEM manufacturing who aim to find a suitable method of superficial hardening of bearings, the developer considers.

Romax Spectrum is complex modeling of noise and vibrations at the system level: from construction of transmission and an electric part of the electromechanical systems before vibrations and emitted noise. Tools of the acoustic analysis in R20 (also available in Romax Evolve) include a possibility of viewing and updating of shrink-wrap of the grids (an automatic environment a grid of a body of any form) used for quality assurance and also the improved user interface and closer integration with FFT Actran. Automation and process optimization of Spectrum R20 is expressed in support of calculations and export of SKZ (root mean square value) of vibration rate in the background and a parametrical research.

Romax Evolve, a special tool for design and the analysis of an electric part of the electromechanical systems, includes interfaces with the software for electromagnetic modeling. And though export of geometry of components for joint work with Motor-CAD and Dassault Opera is possible since 2017, JMAG and Ansys Maxwell were added to versions of R20 to them. Upgraded version allows to estimate excitation of electrical machines. It allows to obtain quickly primary data on the vibration amplitude when data on excitation are unavailable to import. Both opportunities are also available in Romax Spectrum to the analysis of the electrical machine as parts of the whole system.

Among the updates extending at once to several products – the database of bearings from Nachi-Fujikoshi; the updated modeling process allowing to accelerate creation of difficult constructions of shaft with automatic detection of arrangement of connections, a possibility of import of initial geometry directly from a CAD system for visualization and data exchange; changes concerning speed and performance of processes and also introduction of additional results of calculation and the calculated variables available at a parametrical research and data processing.
