iRobot has unveiled the new flagship Roomba Max 705 Vac robot vacuum cleaner, capable of functioning without human intervention for up to 75 days. The device is equipped with a special AutoEmpty docking station that automatically collects dust and debris after each cleaning session. This was announced by representatives of the company in April 2025.
According to the manufacturer, the novelty uses advanced ClearView Pro LiDAR technology and PrecisionVision artificial intelligence, which together allow you to create a detailed three-dimensional map of the house and recognize various objects, including toys and household items. These technologies also enable the device to detect large contaminants and adapt its work accordingly.
The robot vacuum cleaner is equipped with double rubber brushes with protection against tangling, which, combined with a powerful suction system, allows the device to function completely autonomously without requiring additional care or subsequent manual cleaning of the room.
A key element of the system is the AutoEmpty docking station, which houses a vacuum bag capable of trapping particles up to 0.7 microns in size. This guarantees the effective removal of not only large debris, but also the smallest allergens, which is especially important for maintaining a healthy microclimate indoors.
Roomba Max 705 Vac control is implemented with support for voice commands, which increases usability and allows you to integrate the device into modern smart home systems.
The retail price of the new robot vacuum cleaner is set at $899.99. iRobot representatives said that pre-orders for the device are already being accepted on the company's official website, and the new product will arrive in retail stores after May 11, 2025.
The release of the Roomba Max 705 Vac reflects the general trend of the home appliances market to increase automation and reduce the need for human participation in routine tasks.
