The refinement of the platform for collecting and documenting geological data was implemented using RFRIT funds within the framework of the federal project "Digital Technologies" of the national program "Digital Economy of Russia." The amount of the grant amounted to 75.95 million rubles. The total cost of the project is 128.3 million rubles.

The Rosgeo project on automation of geological exploration is included in the List of particularly significant and is included in the roadmap "New Industrial Software," approved by the Government Commission for Digital Development, the use of information technologies to improve the quality of life and business conditions.

The main objectives of the project are: increasing the productivity of field geologists, the quality and completeness of geological information, providing automated means of monitoring and monitoring the progress of geological exploration projects and reducing the time for making management decisions.

An electronic logbook is built into the drilling rig, which transmits to the head office all the most important information about drilling, regardless of where the machine works - in the Urals or in the Far East. Office employees can remotely monitor indicators such as drilling speed, fuel consumption and others.

The drilling speed of our machine was ahead of the performance of foreign equipment. The main idea is not only to technologically align with imported analogues, but also to surpass them in terms of maintainability, quality, ergonomics and, most importantly, operation in the climatic conditions of Russia, - said Roman Kondratyev, chairman of the board of directors of Geomash JSC.

Geologists need about 100 such installations each year. Drilling rigs with domestic software are already waiting on the Russian market.
