2024: Geomis-Geology 6.0
Rosgeo and Geomix completed a joint project to finalize the field design platform. Russian software completely replaces foreign analogues, and due to an integrated approach to automation of solid mineral exploration processes, it increases operational efficiency by more than 2.5 times. Rosgeo reported this on January 16, 2024.
The platform was finalized with grant support from RFRIT. The total cost of the project amounted to 81 million rubles, the amount of the grant - 47 million rubles. The product is introduced into the Rosgeo workflow.
It should be noted the extremely effective work of the Geomix team within the framework of our project. During the year, not only the planned improvements were carried out, but also a significant amount of additional work. As a result, we have an absolutely working applied product that is not inferior to foreign counterparts, with a high potential for replication in the industry, "said Chief information officer Rosgeo JSC Pavel Solovyov. |
Thanks to the RFRIT grant, we managed to finalize the project, which meets all the latest requirements and has great potential for development and application in the field of geological exploration and exploitation of mineral deposits. Grant funds made it possible to significantly speed up the development and release of the version of GGIS GEOMIX-Geology 6.0., - said Alexander Ovsyannikov, product manager of Geomix. |
The GGIS GEOMIX-Geology platform is designed for use in mining enterprises in continuous production conditions. The product finalized for Rosgeo has become universal and includes 8 functional modules: Geology, Surveying, Geostructure, TRU Design, Collapse Modeling, Mining Planning, Mining Design and Mining Optimization. Thus, the platform can be used both at the expert level of working with data in consulting, and to solve routine production tasks.
The updated version of the GGIS GEOMIS-Geology 6.0 product allows you to accumulate and process primary geological information, interpret it, create three-dimensional models of mineral deposits, conduct studies to determine the patterns of distribution of qualitative properties of ores in space and calculate mineral reserves.
The product is an important functional element of the integrated TPI exploration platform, which is being finalized and implemented at the Rosgeo site with the support of the RDIF. End-to-end automation of the entire range of business processes and high integration of all platform modules "from field to report" allows you to achieve a significant economic effect by improving operational efficiency.
GGIS GEOMIX-Geology is a completely domestic product that replaced the Australian GGIS Micromine, which left the Russian market at the end of 2023. The documentation created in GGIS GEOMIX complies with the regulatory requirements of the Russian Federation. In 2025, it is planned to release the release of GGIS GEOMIX 7.0. Innovative methods of 3D modeling of geological bodies and mining processes, as well as a multi-user mode of operation will be added to the product.
2023: Planning to expand functionality with the ability to conduct exploratory drilling results
On January 26, 2023, Rosgeologia announced that it had received a grant from the Russian Information Technology Development Fund (RFRIT) for the development and implementation of the project "Refinement of the Field Design Platform" as part of a competitive selection for the implementation of Russian solutions in the field of information technology. Learn more here.
According to the company, as a result of the project, it is planned to expand the functionality of the existing software product - the mining and geological information system (GGIS) "GEOMIX-Geology" in order to further replace the software of foreign production and automate the geological exploration process.
In particular, the following functional extension will be implemented:
- Maintaining the results of exploratory drilling;
- Maintenance of geological testing data;
- Construction of spatial geological objects;
- Estimation of in-place reserves;
- Formation of geological documentation.
The project of Rosgeo JSC is included in the List of particularly significant projects and is included in the roadmap "New Industrial Software," approved by the Government Commission for Digital Development, the use of information technologies to optimize the quality of life and conditions for doing business.
The GEOMIX company, the developer of the domestic mining and geological information system of the same name, will implement the project "Refinement of the field design platform." GEOMIX solutions are designed for integrated automation of the mining industry, received approval from the GKZ FBU, comply with Russian standards, are included in the register of Russian software, and are easier to implement.
The GEOMIX-Geology GGIS module is part of the system and will optimize the efficiency of geological exploration, provide modern tools for geological and resource modeling, and promptly and accurately calculate and calculate mineral reserves according to Russian standards.
The wide development of domestic IT solutions and their implementation in the mining industry for January 2023 is especially important. In the context of global changes, the issue of import substitution of software is not just a task to optimize the efficiency of enterprises, but a necessary measure for their survival and safety. told Oleg Nikishin, General Director of GEOMIX LLC |
2022: System Purpose
Rostec's IT solution for simulating industrial explosions can increase mining efficiency by 15%.
The GEOMIX Mining and Geological Information System (GGIS) helps companies engaged in the extraction of iron, gold, aluminum alloy, coal and other minerals, estimates and calculates the reserves of a useful component at the place of birth and, based on analysis, selects the sources of its development. Using a system of seven modules, you can obtain quarry models, as well as develop the calculation of reserves and reverse resources. Rostec announced this on October 14, 2022 in its Telegram channel.
The system forms the structure of charges, predicts the quality of crushing of the rock mass and the consequences of blasting operations. It allows you to observe explosive destruction of rocks and predict the content of a useful component in the mass released after detonation. This technology also helps to identify abnormal situations that can be associated with loss of life.
Mining companies that have already received the system have confirmed that GEOMIX has become an indispensable trace element in their production chain.
