2020: Creation of a prototype of the satellite modem

On February 27, 2020 Rostec reported TAdviser that the holding "Ruselectronics" developed the modem for the organization of high-speed digital channels of transfer data through systems satellite communication. Main advantage of this equipment - software with open source code, allowing users to adjust independently functionality of the modem depending on tasks and to apply non-standard exchange protocols information.

Development can be used for creation of networks of high-speed communication with speed up to 100 Mbps in locations where the wire or mobile Internet is unavailable. Also the device can be used in field conditions.

The modem is equipped with the high-speed modulator of the selected digital DVB-S2 satellite channels and also the high-capacity programmable logic integrated circuit which does not have domestic analogs. The equipment is multifunction and can be used both as the satellite modem, and as the terminal or a hub.

The domestic equipment guarantees to users lack of "tabs" and the high level of information security. The product of Ruselectronics is distinguished by the increased resistance to noises, compact dimensions and more perfect performances, including capacity. At the same time in the device the high modernization potential is put: its functionality can be increased by "refirmware" of the software and updates of algorithms of digital signal processing,
noted the chief executive of State Corporation Rostec Oleg Yevtushenko
