Equipment of the Electronic Doctor terminal

As of September 6, 2019 the telemedicine terminal "Electronic Doctor" is equipped with two video cameras, the scanner for transfer of medical documents and reading of a barcode, a card reader, the device for printing of coupons of making an appointment with the doctor and medical certificates according to the results of consultation.

For receiving service citizens of Russia need to have the confirmed account on the portal of state services. Identification is performed through the Unified identification and authentication system (Unified identification and authentication system) that guarantees information security and personal data protection.

Communication with the doctor is performed in a text chat or through audio-or video conference with the help of the built-in headset. Upon completion of consultation the patient can print the medical certificate about the held telemedicine consultation with the recommendations of the doctor. Results and documents from the previous acceptances will be always available in a personal account of the patient.

Terminals can be installed in any socially important objects that gives the chance to provide the qualified medical care to the population from remote rural areas. Citizens can consult with doctors from "center" and save time and forces, emphasized in Rostelecom.

Representation of the Electronic Doctor system

On May 20, 2019 the Rostelecom company provided the telemedicine information system "Electronic Doctor" developed together with RT Labs company in Novosibirsk. It gives the chance to establish two-way communication between the patient and the doctor: now the doctor can communicate with the patient in real time and browse analysis results. At the same time the service guarantees security of personal data.

In development plans for the platform — emergence of mobile applications for patients and doctors, remote monitoring of indicators of health and system implementation of response to a deviation of indicators.

"The electronic doctor" provides availability of medical technologies to all patients, regardless of their location and also allows to get the qualified medical advice from those specialists to whom it is difficult to reach from the remote areas.
