2024: Inclusion in the register of domestic software

On February 5, 2024, Rostelecom announced the inclusion of its own developed Russian Ministry of Digital Science, the Yaga system, in the register of domestic software. 2022: System Creation

On December 23, 2022, it became known that Rostelecom was creating a platform called Yaga, which was designed to plan work and should become a replacement for foreign systems Trello, Jira and Confluence (developed by Atlassian).

Dariy Khalitov, vice president for information systems development at the Russian company, told Vedomosti about this project. He did not disclose the planned investment in this product, however, as the newspaper notes, the investment assessment is indicated in the roadmap "New System-Wide Software," designed for the period up to 2030. As the publication writes with reference to this document, more than 1 billion rubles from its own budget are pledged for the development of Yaga by Rostelecom and Rostelecom IT.

The Ministry of Digital Development clarified to the newspaper that the development of the Yaga platform will be financed from Rostelecom's own funds. The project is included in the roadmap at the suggestion of the competence center for the development of applied and system-wide software "Software Development Management," the ministry added. New

Dariy Khalitov assures that the creation of the Rostelecom platform began long before Atlassian left the Russian market. The company includes the solutions of Yandex, Bitrix, T1-consulting and Turbo (Consyst Business Group) among the developments for project management.

"Yaga" will be presented in both server and cloud versions. The on-premium version (located on the client's own site) will be intended primarily for corporate customers and the public sector. A cloud solution will be available for ordinary users.
