2018: Submission of the Digital Well project
On November 23, 2018 Rostelecom submitted the Digital Well project.
Creation of smart wells — one of the most perspective industry solutions for implementation of technologies in the oil and gas industry. Specialists of Rostelecom install the equipment which collects data in the well of the field. Engineers can work with them online regardless of location, attendance time of workers on an object is minimized. The digital double of the well displays all parameters, including pressure, temperature and gas contamination which can be controlled far off. Development of Rostelecom provides reduction of shortages due to constant control of work of the well and also decrease in labor costs and costs for an overhaul.
One more hot topic for the oil and gas industry — environmental monitoring. The intelligent system of video surveillance of Rostelecom automatically informs on risks of oil spill on the platform and also reveals violations on an object and allows to control presence at personnel of means of protecting.
In remote territories without infrastructure Rostelecom develops the system of a radio communication which can independently work from rechargeable batteries and provides a covering in a radius up to 42 kilometers.
Creation of the smart well will expand cooperation of Rostelecom and Gazprom Neft group. For November, 2018 the operator connects refueling stations, oil depots and offices of holding to communication networks. Rostelecom already provided communication to several large-scale deposits in hardly accessible remote areas and also provided reservation of trunk communication channels of Noyabrskneftegazsvyaz company for smooth operation of external and internal information services.
