The hardware and software system "SABRA" (The system of automatic contactless registration of motor transport) is developed by the Systematics company in 2008 "SABRA" performs contactless registration of motor transport on RFID technology, and is one of the first system solutions which are completely automating identification of cars. SABRA is intended for automatic contactless accounting and registration of motor transport at entrance and departure from the protected area and also control of emergency devices (barriers, traffic lights, gate, etc.).
SABRA – the complete solution including the hardware and a specialized software with a user-friendly interface of system management.

SABRA includes the following components (in more detail here):
- RFID tags
- contactless radio-frequency readers
- module of recognition of the video image
- specialized software
The system of automatic contactless registration as follows works:
- The RFID tag containing information on the car (the brand, number, color, etc.) is fixed on "torpedo", a roof or a cowl of the vehicle (passenger, trucks, small vans)
- antennas of readers of a RFID signal are placed on brackets over an entrance zone in such a way that the tag gets to a reading zone when moving the car in any direction
- connection between control devices (barriers, gate, etc.) and a management system is established, if necessary procedures of automatic operation of these devices are created;
- The RFID tag, at hit in a reader area of coverage, transfers to a managing system the identifying code and contents of the memory. The video image of number of the car is also transferred to a system for recognition;
- given the car and an event are registered a system. If necessary the procedure of automatic operation of control devices is started;
- in the automatic mode there is an output to the screen of the monitor of information on the car. If necessary the operator of a system gives commands to control devices, using the program interface.
The system of automatic contactless registration of motor transport allows:
- it is unambiguous to identify the car passing through the checkpoint;
- register the fact and the direction of journey of the car in the single database;
- in real time to browse data on the passing car on the monitor;
- manage emergency devices and the automated mode;
- set rules of automatic operation of emergency devices on the basis of data on number of the car;
- receive the reporting on movements of motor transport under different parameters.
2012: SABRA 3.0
SABRA 3.0 is focused on full automation of accounting of motor transport. A system is constructed on technology of radio frequency identification (RFID) that also accounting of motor transport allows to exercise control, without requiring a stop of the car and direct contact of the card with the reader.
SABRA 3.0 allows to register the fact and the direction of journey of the car, to show information on movement of the vehicles which are in a certain zone, to receive the reporting on movements of motor transport, to perform condition monitoring of the equipment.
The upgraded software developed by specialists of Sistematika company and also specialized devices from world leading manufacturers of the RFID equipment is a part of the solution. A system is integrated into any existing networks and is compatible to the majority of control facilities of access.
The new version SABRA 3.0 includes:
- transfer of low-level software from MACH3 protocol on the LLRP protocol that allowed to increase the range of operability of a system;
- creation of the module of the system management including instruments of installation of the period of opening/closing of automatic gate and barriers, switchings of signals of the traffic light, determination of rules of access of motor transport;
- creation of the module of SMS informing – service in providing information on intersection of a zone of the check point on mobile phones by means of text messages of SMS.
Expansion of functionality and emergence of new optional modules compatible to the version SABRA 3.0 is planned.
2014: In the SABRA system the logistic module appeared
In the fall of 2014 in the SABRA system there was a logistic module defining approximate time of a way and synchronizing system operation to several check points. The hardware and software system "SABRA" is development of the Systematics company for automatic registration of cars on technology of radio frequency identification of RFID.
The system of automatic contactless registration of SABRA motor transport expanded the functionality with the new logistic module of time supervision at ways and informing interested persons on intersection of the check point. The module is expected the organizations with the developed branch and warehouse network in which check-points the SABRA system is installed.
The car crosses a check point zone with the set SABRA complex. A system brings in uniform base of the enterprise the exact time of departure, the name of a load and number of the car. This information becomes available in each branch of network. A system times a way, providing data on approximate arrival of the car in a terminal point. The SABRA operator in a terminal point informs on waiting of the car of interested persons. At intersection of the SABRA check point sends information on arrival of the expected car to all selected users by means of SMS and e-mail of the message.
The logistic module "SABRA" supports an unlimited number of the check point.
This functionality promotes optimization of workflow in a warehouse, provides information on arrival of a load and reduces a downtime of the car from arrival to unloading. Interested persons and versions of scenarios of their notification there is an unlimited number and can be added or edited at any time.
"Design of the logistic module was caused by need of synchronization of data for the network version of the SABRA system installed in the different cities and also calculation of a way between branches and informing on arrival of a load. Now the network SABRA version is set in several branches of Baltika brewery, and logistic complexes of the class "A+" of Ofis Rielti and "Admiral-TSV", - Evgeny Shuvalov, the Head of Department of system solutions of the Systematics company commented.
