The SAS Institute company announced the new analytical software allowing wide ranks of business users to perform forecasting in September. Before task of this sort traditionally decided using specialized statistical tools.
Predictive analysis assumes determination of templates and forecasting of future results on the basis of processing of already available data. The SAS Rapid Predictive Modeler tools will allow business users to analyze scenarios of customer segmentation and "flowability" of the customer base using a set of the models described in advance. Results are presented in the form of reports and charts, simple for understanding.
Models are generated by means of the tool which should be integrated further into SAS Enterprise Miner, the platform of higher level. It can be used during the work with databases Teradata, Netezza and IBM DB/2.
