SCOUT: DriverID

DriverID is the contactless smart card reader for the protected identification of the driver, the operator of a toplivorazdacha and the operator of the loader.

On December 22, 2016 the SCOUT company announced release of the device for the protected DriverID identification.

DriverID is created for the companies, stremyashizsya to secure the transport against unauthorized use, frauds from employees and stealing.

Using this device users of a system will be able precisely to know about what drivers, in what time and on what machine worked. At this DriverID will allow to exclude substitution of drivers and to prevent plunder of transport due to blocking of the starter and use of a system "-others"^[1].

In smart cards of identification the Mifare protocol with high extent of cryptoprotection is used.

DriverID can is applied in all solutions of SCOUT Group — from basic monitoring before control of special equipment and fuel-servicing trucks. It can be installed on any type of transport. Users of a System SCOUT will always know what driver operated the vehicle and what events at the same time took place. For example, to trace which of employees was driving during fuel dump. The contactless reader DriverID is available in two options: for visually open and hidden installation. As keys of identification different tags — from cards and charms to bracelets and stickers can be used.
