SCOUT Navigator

The SCOUT group announced in June, 2012 release of the new SCOUT Navigator software product. Sales start on June 25, 2012. SCOUT Navigator represents the software for the normal automobile navigator which the SCOUT allows to use it as the tracking device in composition.

It is the simplified version of a traditional system of satellite monitoring of vehicles which is not requiring installation. SCOUT Navigator is intended for optimization of work of the logistic companies, the taxi, the delivery services, service companies and also courier and emergency services. The new product from a line SCOUT, in particular, will suit the companies which need to control movement of the drivers working on personal vehicles.

SCOUT Navigator implements basic functions of the traditional module of monitoring SCOUT which, as before, allow the manager to trace in real time vehicle provision on the card, to browse trajectories of the movement and reports for any period in the past.

The important difference from traditional monitoring systems consists in instant independent equipment installation on the vehicle and opportunities to send to the driver text messages. The driver, in turn, can send to the manager the current status, a disturbing signal and also turn off the tracking mode in time off, continuing to use fixed functions of the automobile navigator.

The product already sustained the first check on durability. Twelve companies participating in testing were characterized SCOUT Navigator as the product which is most satisfying current demands of their vehicle fleets. The new solution allows to solve several problems at once: exclude inappropriate use of transport, increase efficiency and efficiency of fleet management, to ensure traffic safety.

For solving of tasks on the actual control of fuel consumption, engine operation modes, operation of the hinged equipment, etc., SCOUT Group continues to make traditional modules of monitoring MT-600.
