Beginning of sales blockchain version

On September 5, 2019 the Samsung company began sales KlaytnPhone blockchain smartphone. He is created based on the flagman Galaxy Note 10 device and, according to developers, is called to make blockchain technology more clear and available to people.

In terms of technical specifications of KlaytnPhone does not differ from original model. The main changes are connected with use of different blockchains-applications and the built-in cryptocurrency wallet. Besides, buyers of phone will receive "quantity" of tokens of the Klay cryptocurrency developed by South Korean company Kakao.

At start or switching off of the device it will show the Klaytn logo instead of the standard image.

According to the The Wall Street Journal newspaper, blockchains-applications of Klaytn it is possible to use on any Android devices, but in KlaytnPhone they can use "in full".

Samsung shows interest in a blockchain long ago. Earlier the producer of electronics invested in several blockchain startups and released the version of Galaxy S10 which received the applications (dApp) integrated the cryptocurrency wallet and decentralized.

Also Samsung added support of bitcoin to the hardware Blockchain Keystore SDK cryptocurrency wallet in flagman smartphones. The company is going to add cryptocurrency functions and to budget devices.

We want to lower gradually barriers to users, expanding the number of the Galaxy models with function of interaction with a blockchain. We also want to expand geography, after the Korean, American and Canadian markets — the director of products in Samsung Che Vaughan-Cheol said.

Samsung is going to sell the KlaytnPhone model only in South Korea. Its price is about $1000 that corresponds to the cost of "normal" Galaxy Note 10.^[1]

Integration into applications and Microsoft services

On August 8, 2019 the companies Microsoft also Samsung announced development of long-term strategic partnership in the field of innovations. Since Samsung Galaxy Note10 productive applications and Microsoft services will be are integrated in products of the line, including function of automatic synchronization with PC Link to Windows OneDrive, Outlook and also Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

As noted in Microsoft, thanks to automatic and convenient synchronization of devices it is possible to remain in an operating mode without the need for switching between them, at the same time quickly getting access to a photo, text messages and mobile applications. For this purpose it is enough to connect phone to the PC on Windows 10 using the Link to Windows function on Galaxy Note10 or through the Your Phone application on the computer. It is not necessary to look for phone any more to check notifications, to plan a trip to the airport or to write the message.

According to Microsoft, users of Galaxy Note10 will also estimate the Phone screen function which will give the chance to work with applications of phone directly on the PC, using the keyboard and a mouse or the touch screen. The user can write messages, armor a trip, browse the friends page or order a dinner on the computer screen, using applications of phone.

The OneDrive application provides access to files wherever there was a user. Besides, the functions allowing to share files, to keep them safe are built in it and it is even more productive to make work with them. For example, it is possible to open for other users access to files and photo albums for joint work and also to scan and save paper documents, checks and records, and then to add to them a mark a finger or the Samsung S. Galaxy Note10 stylus will become the first smartphone with OneDrive integration, and then also other devices of Samsung will follow, emphasized in Microsoft.

To help users to carry out the tasks at any time from any place in the world, the application with functions of an email client and outlook calendar will be preset on Galaxy Note10. Using Outlook the user will be able to use the e-mail, calendars, contact lists and files in any of convenient applications, claim in Microsoft.

According to the statement of Microsoft, on Galaxy Note10 Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be also available.

On August 7, 2019 the presentation of flagman smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and also its increased version of Galaxy Note 10+ took place.

Note 10 has the 6.3-inch screen with resolution capability   2280 x 1080 points, and Note 10+ — 6.8-inch with  the resolution of 3040 × 1440 pixels. In both cases the Corning Gorilla Glass 6 glass protecting the display is used  and the Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O technology assuming use of the minimum border (the screen occupies 91% of the space of a front surface of the device) and small round notch under a selfie camera is applied. The last has a 10-megapixel matrix and wide angles of the overview.

The version for the Russian market includes 8-core processor Exynos 9825. The amount of a fixed memory is 256 Gbytes, operational — 8 Gbytes (Note 10) or 12 Gbytes (Note 10+).
