The management system of NSI Semantic MDM (registered trademark) is the flagship product of SDI Solution, specially developed and adapted for Russian machine building. This is the enterprise's corporate NSI management system, which provides centralized storage and provision of reference information in a standardized form to all interested users and application automated systems. Maintaining Historical Data

Release of the cloud version of the MDM system for industrial production

On December 18, 2018, SDI Solution announced the release of a cloud semantic MDM system designed to create and maintain product catalogs and product classifiers on the scale of an industrial holding, corporation. The project was implemented by a subsidiary of EsdiAi Risyoch LLC, a resident of Skolkovo IC.

The description of the objects of regulatory reference information (NSI) in the environment providing centralized management of corporate master data of the enterprise allows you to store the most detailed information about the characteristics of equipment, tools, materials, components, etc., which is in demand both during procurement and in production conditions during design, design and manufacture.

The developed cloud service is designed to provide a single source of "truth" about NSI objects, maintaining the relevance, quality, completeness and reliability of information in order to implement the requirements of the novelty of promising production technologies, import substitution, as well as ensuring standardization and technical regulation processes, noted in "SDI Solution."

According to the developer, the cloud SaaS service provided as Software as a Service (SaaS) "software as a service" compared to desktop applications can reduce the cost of software ownership, speed up the system deployment process and manage data from anywhere. Management system of NSI "Semantic" 2013

SDI Solution announced in January 2013 the release of a new software package consisting of:

  • System for calculation of cutting modes (PPR).

The key objectives of the complex are:

  • automated design of technological processes of machine-building production, including standardization of material and labor costs;
  • integration of complex components with CAD, CAM, PDM, MES and ERP systems based on unified NSI databases and standardization of data exchange protocols.

The complex includes design appendices of SMN, STN, PPR, which are an integral part of the Semantic 2013 system. All calculations are based on a single mechanism for processing table data according to a given scenario. The system is open and allows you to enter your own calculation algorithms using a special administration module.

A distinctive feature of the developed mechanism is the support of any calculation scenarios in the form of a wizard, with the help of which the user goes through a given number of steps and selects the values ​ ​ of parameters involved in the calculation in tables. The results of the calculations are saved in CAD Process Engineering 2013, either in an external system, or in an xls, xml file.

In addition to the result, the technology also retains the history of the calculation, which makes it technically reasonable, since there is always a link to the primary source - a reference book approved at the enterprise.

The use of SMN, STN, PPR in complex with CAD TP "Timeline" 2013 makes it possible to increase the degree of automation of calculations, since part of the necessary input data is read from the technological process, and not entered manually.

The calculations of cutting modes introduced in the Semantic 2013 system are based on the reference book "Cutting modes for turning and drilling-milling-boring machines with numerical program control. Edited by V.I. Guseev. - M.: Engineering, 2007. "

Calculation of consumption rates of the main material for measuring rolled products of various profiles is implemented on the basis of algorithms described in the reference book "Babaev F.V.   • calculation of labour intensity, material consumption and cost of products manufacturing;

Integration with Autodesk Inventor 2013

Integration of the Semantic NSI Control System with Autodesk Inventor 2013 has been implemented. A design kit consisting of Autodesk Inventor, a reference book for Materials and Components, which can be supplied both as standalone applications and as part of other system reference books. There are special price conditions for the delivery of the design kit.

Semantic reference books are developed in accordance with the description principles adopted in the Russian Federation (according to GOST, OST, TU). In particular, the Materials handbook consists of three separate classifiers:

The basic delivery of the Reference Book of Components contains a description of 85 regulatory documents with 30 thousand 3D models. The reference book provides the user with a detailed attributive description of objects, as well as regulatory documents (GOST, OST, etc.) in various formats (Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word, TIFF, etc.).
