Signal Road controller Subsystem of ASUDD

The device is intended for automatic and manual switching of signals of traffic lights and characters of the managed road signs both at the certain (local) intersection, and at the intersections which are logging in coordinate management of traffic.

Advantages and possibilities of ASUDD

The ASUDD project allows to build a management system for traffic in the region, including monitoring of a situation, rapid response and tactical planning. Also will become the first step on the way of creation of an intelligent transport system

Minimum investments, maximum effect. Due to coordination, reconfiguration and operational management of ASUDD traffic lights will help to liquidate or to considerably reduce up to 70% of the jams which are formed in the region. It will allow to concentrate large investments on new roads and outcomes to those 30% of cases, where "local" method to improve a situation is not present and also for problem solving of connectivity of territories.

Fast victories. Traffic light optimization of traffic not only inexpensive, but also fast. The serious transport effect to 70% of problem places can be reached on the horizon of 3-12 months after equipment installation and connection them to a system.

Several levels of traffic control. ASUDD will give the chance of operational monitoring and management of a situation on any section of UDS where there are traffic lights and cameras, in advance reacting to any situations. It will allow not to allow deteriorations in a road situation (road buildings, planned overlappings) in case of systematic restrictions, and in case of unplanned events (road accident, state of emergency, federal actions) quickly to react to them, compensating restrictions with traffic lights on the next sections.

Traffic optimization. The operator ASUDD can also provide development of operational and medium-term measures for fight against jams through the local actions which are out of its opportunities (a remarking, broadenings, construction and reconstruction of traffic lights).

Creation of an intelligent transport system. Due to the growing level of automation and digitalization of economy in the medium term to all regions the tasks of creation of intelligent transport systems will be set. ASUDD will allow to create basic level, "platform" on which afterwards it will be possible to build on new subsystems and levels of automation of traffic, including control of traffic lights. Also it can be scaled to other regions with creation of a national management system for traffic
