2022: Electric Vehicle Sales Start
At the end of November 2022, the Chinese company Skywell announced the start of official sales in the Russian Federation of the electric crossover ET5. For the manufacturer, this is the first model released on the Russian market.
Skywell ET5 is positioned as a mid-size premium crossover. Its dimensions are 4698 x 1908 x 1696 mm with a wheelbase of 2800 mm. The car is slightly larger than the Skoda Kodiaq.
Skywell ET5 is equipped with a drive exclusively to the front axle. On it is also the only electric motor - TZ200XSJ. The power of such a power unit is 204 hp, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 7.9 seconds. An uncontested lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 72 kWh is responsible for the "endurance" of the crossover. Such a battery should provide a "five" mileage of more than 400 km (WLTP).
The car is equipped with the most common CCS2 charging connector in Russia and a recovery system that retains up to 30% of energy during braking. Skywell ET5 can fully restore the charge of the traction "battery" in just 30 minutes (provided that the fast charging station is used).
The model in the Comfort configuration costs 4,480,000 rubles, the Luxury version will cost 4,980,000 rubles.
The Comfort version features LED optics, a leather interior, six airbags, keyless access, power, heated and ventilated front seats, a rear view camera, adaptive cruise control, a 12.8-inch media system and a fifth door servo.
In the top version of Luxury, a panoramic roof, matrix headlights and an expanded complex of electronic assistants also appear. In particular, there will be such branded solutions as a driver's seat with a rest mode, when the driver's seat takes an almost horizontal position and relaxing music is turned on.[1]
