2026: Release of Electric Truck with Refrigerator
In February 2026, Sova Motors, part of the Lanit holding, released a refrigerated truck based on the Sova 35 low-tonnage electric truck. The novelty is intended for urban delivery operators and logistics organizations.
As noted in the press release of the Lanit holding, in parallel with the launch of a new model of vehicles on the market in the Russian industry, a project is being implemented to digitalize business processes. Segezha Group has begun a phased modernization of information systems.
The key goal is to provide customers with accurate data. The developer Norbitol"" introduces a platform AI MasterData for automating regulatory reference information (NSI), which is a single classifier of data used in all operations of the company - from logistics to finance.
The project for the introduction of artificial intelligence is being implemented in stages. At the first stage, Norbit specialists will train the platform on the Segezha Group information arrays. Further, the algorithms will categorize the data of the selected classes, after which quality control will be organized.
Irina Kolotova, head of the data management and analytics office at Segezha Digital Solutions (part of Segezha Group), said that the company had studied market offers and conducted a number of pilot tests. According to her, the choice criterion was not just a fashionable solution, but a reliable tool that provides a measurable result.
Norbit Business Development Director Artem Ivakin noted that the project with Segezha Group demonstrates the applied nature of modern Russian artificial intelligence technologies. The solution used allows enterprises to save time and reduce the risks of errors in procurement and reporting. Artem Ivakin expressed confidence that the successful implementation of the project could become an example for other large holding enterprises in Russia.
2025: Start of Sales
The Sova Motors company, which is part of the Lanit holding, has officially launched the implementation of the Sova 35 low-tonnage electric truck with a permitted weight of 3.5 and 5.5 tons. This was announced at the end of October 2025.
The new model expands the brand's line of commercial electric vehicles and opens up opportunities for city delivery operators and logistics companies. Production is located at the site of the Alabuga special economic zone.
The Sova 35 truck was created taking into account Russian climatic features and combines the functionality of traditional freight transport with the advantages of an electric power plant. Basic equipment exceeds market standards in terms of a set of options.
Traffic safety and operating comfort are provided by a pneumatic brake system, a pneumatic seat to reduce driver fatigue, a 360-degree all-round camera, and electric mirrors with a heating function. Solutions simplify maneuvering and improve safety when working in conditions of heavy urban traffic and frequent stops.
The range exceeds 200 km, which allows you to perform tasks during a full work shift without additional recharging. The fast charging function ensures continuity of delivery operations and reduces downtime of equipment.
The manufacturer provides free maintenance for three years or until reaching a mileage of 150 thousand km - whichever comes first. This reduces operating costs for transport owners in the early years of use.
The electric truck is available on an approved chassis, which is adapted for the installation of various standard and specialized add-ons. The versatility of the design allows you to use the car for different types of cargo transportation - from refrigerated trucks to van installations.
Modular architecture simplifies the modification of transport to meet specific business requirements. Customers can choose the configuration depending on the nature of the cargo and delivery routes.[1]
