The department artificial intelligence and (machine learning Norbitol part of the group) LANIT presented the AI MasterData application solution to automate the normalization of regulatory reference information (NSI). The product will speed up the distribution of the nomenclature by categories, enrich records with attributes, eliminate duplicates and errors, and also significantly reduce the total cost of processing NSI in comparison with tools without artificial intelligence. Norbit announced this on July 21, 2025.

The solution, created by an experienced team of NORBIT data scientists and LLM specialists, allows you to use both high-quality data and unstructured information. The high accuracy of attribute value extraction is achieved through a combination of approaches: classical machine learning and large language models, including Norbit GPT's own LLM platform.

AI MasterData uses specialized algorithms for various data processing situations, including the most complex tasks: uncategorized records, NSI with a large number of errors. An extensive internal knowledge base helps to enrich attribute values, obtain the required characteristics of item records from the internal storage. The platform determines the value of the NSI class by all-Russian classifiers, categories and directories of the organization, removes duplicate positions, forms a clean name.

The solution integrates with existing customer information systems, if necessary, it is easily customized for the methodology of a particular company, depending on industry specifics. AI MasterData can be deployed both in the on-premium version and in the cloud. For a quick start, it is enough to download the category guide, specify the required modules and start processing NSI records. The employee will cope with the setting without programming skills.

The audience of AI MasterData is a medium and large business working with an extensive range of goods: industry, construction, mining, retail, FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
