2021: Creation of the Gosdoki application, which will replace paper documents
In mid-April 2021, it became known about the upcoming launch of the Gosdoki mobile application in Russia, which will be able to replace paper documents: SNILS and TIN certificates, compulsory medical insurance policies, driver's license, etc.
There will be no Russian passport in the "State Docks." A separate application will be created for its digital version, while allowing the Russians to save the paper version, the project says.
According to Vedomosti, the development of the Gosdoki application is provided for by the Digital Citizen Profile (CPG) project, the development of which is the responsibility of the National Innovation System working group, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko. His office confirmed to the publication the study of such a project.
According to the authors of the project, if the Russians have only a passport, this will save up to 5 billion rubles annually. By 2021, about this amount is spent every year on the production of paper and plastic documents. Thus, the estimated costs of developing the application - 1.3 billion rubles - will quickly pay off. About 400 million rubles are going to be spent already in 2021.
Upon all these documents are already the copy of digital record in the state systems, the analyst of the Russian association electronic kommunikatsiykaren Kazaryan noted. Kaspersky Lab chief expert Sergei Golovanov called it critical that all digital documents be stored in compliance with strict cybersecurity rules.
Cybersecurity experts interviewed by Vedomosti believe that the safety of electronically stored data will depend both on encryption in the application itself and on the mindfulness of users who can try to access the document using phishing sites.
Leakage can lead to significant problems, for example, a surge in social engineering or attempts to fake a person, "he said.[1] |
