Step Logic has developed a multimedia solution for public and office spaces - an interactive media column with the ability to work with virtual assistants. The system can be used to broadcast video and audio content, interactive navigation and interact with virtual AI assistants, Step Logic officials said on August 15, 2023.

The media column has a thin case made of tempered glass and satin stainless steel. The column screen is more than 2 meters high with an aspect ratio of 32:9, which makes interactive navigation and display of video content more comfortable, and communication with virtual AI assistants is extremely realistic. Thanks to the increased brightness of the screen, the solution can be installed even in heavily lit rooms.

The user can not only receive audiovisual information, but also interact with content thanks to touch control with simultaneous support for up to 40 touches. The column is also equipped with a camera with a video analytics function, a sensitive microphone system with automatic adjustment and an acoustic system with surround sound.

For the convenience of content layout, the solution provides a large number of quickly generated templates that do not require long rendering of each widget. When updating events built into content, information from other sites can be dynamically uploaded.

To ensure the security of information in public spaces, the solution provides for the possibility of placing the hardware platform in a dedicated server, and not in the column housing. The main equipment and information network remain in the protected perimeter of the company, and only video streams and interface signals are transmitted to the column.
