Algorithm Suprema

For December, 2018 in the biometric BioStation A2 terminal the patented algorithm of fingerprint recognition Suprema is used.

Hardware platform

For scanning of a fingerprint in the BioStation A2 terminal the optical sensor of the next generation allowing to create an accurate biometric template for fractions of a second is used. All components of the equipment Suprema are developed at the hi-tech IT enterprises and undergo strict control of quality.

Power and performance

According to Suprema, thanks to the 4-core processor comparison of templates of fingerprints happens to speed of 1:150,000 per second that allows to make the decision on access without visible delay — even on very large objects.

Autonomous memory on 50 thousand photos or 5 million text records will ensure trouble-free operation of a system even if touch with the server of the software will be lost, claim in the company.

Universality

For objects on which the system of access was already installed soft junction on the new platform thanks to the readers of RFID cards or smartphones which are built in the terminal can be performed. A part of users can continue to go through access point according to the card, and the others can use biometric identification. One more opportunity for identification is input of the digital password (PIN code).

Economic Efficiency

The same BioStation A2 device can perform functions not only the fingerprint reader, cards and smartphones, but also the access controller that allows to reduce equipment costs.

Video on-door speakerphone mode

The BioStation A2 terminal can be used in the video on-door speakerphone mode. The Russian software package APACS Bio supports the present possibility for this device. As a result instead of two devices — the video on-door speakerphone and the reader — it is enough to you to purchase of only one.

Security

Function of detecting and photofixing of persons of visitors allows to save images of the persons of all passing through the terminal. If this function is included, and the person of the visitor did not get to a lens of the camera BioStation A2, access will not be provided. All photos remain in the magazine of logs in autonomous memory of the device.

2015: BioStation A2 release

On November 5, 2015 the Suprema company announced release of the biometric Suprema BioStation A2 IP terminal.

The dactyloscopic IP terminal is equipped with 1 GHz the 4-core processor and 8 GB flash memory that allows to use the device on objects with a large number of users:

  • comparison of 150 thousand prints per second
  • storage capacity: 500 thousand users, 5 million text events
  • data exchange with the server – 5 thousand users a minute

Identification is possible on a fingerprint, the card 13.56 MHz and to the PIN code

The BioStation A2 IP Terminal is equipped with the optical OP5 sensor with the upgraded function of detection of counterfeited fingerprints that provides decrease in probability of an error by 5 times in comparison with earlier announced models.

The IP terminal is equipped built in by the card reader of access and the keyboard, allowing to choose a convenient access mode for each user:

  • finger
  • card
  • ID/card + finger
  • ID/card + finger/PIN
  • ID/card + PIN
  • ID/card + finger + PIN

Secure access according to the card 13.56 MHz

The lineup of the BioStation A2 IP terminal is provided by two devices supporting different types of maps:

  • BSA2-OMPW with the card reader 13.56 MHz of Mifare/DesFire
  • BSA2-OIPW with the card reader 13.56 MHz of HID iCLASS/iCLASS SE

BioStation A2 is equipped with the 5-inch touch display with the dialogue user interface Android OS.

The IP terminal is equipped with the 2 megapixel camera and function of photofixing of persons of visitors that allows to save in addition to text logs up to 50 thousand qualitative images of people in the event log.

Abilities to integrate into the ACS, URV and end-to-end systems of security

The IP terminal supports different interfaces of connection, allowing to operate the device independently and as a part of systems with different architecture.
