2024: System Launch

On October 18, 2024, a new system for monitoring construction and collateral facilities using Earth remote sensing (remote sensing) data was presented in Sochi. The development, created by the joint efforts of VTB Bank and T1 Holding, allows monitoring the progress of construction and the condition of collateral using space images.

A pilot project for the implementation of this system has been carried out since the fall of 2023. During this time, images of more than 500 objects in various regions of Russia were obtained and analyzed, the total area of which exceeded 750 square meters. km

The new technology provides high accuracy and quality of aerospace images, which allows not only to detect changes in collateral objects, but also to assess economic activity on their territory. An important advantage of the system is the absence of the need for personal participation of the pledger in the monitoring process.

The head of the collateral department, Senior Vice President of VTB Anton Vovk, noted that the launch of the project will greatly simplify the process of monitoring the construction of large facilities, such as industrial enterprises, residential complexes and shopping centers. The new system will allow monitoring almost automatically, which will significantly reduce time and resource costs.

Konstantin Shadrin, Director of the Competence Center of the T1 Holding, stressed that space technologies are increasingly being introduced into various sectors of the economy. The presence of its own ground infrastructure for receiving data, an automated system for processing them and qualified specialists allows you to quickly adapt services to the needs of the business and integrate them into existing analytical systems.[1]
