TSS: Diamond ACS

Diamond ACS is a complex of control and access isolation (Information security facility NSD). The technology provides information system protection from unauthorized access. A basic unit of a complex – program which if necessary can be equipped with additional hardware components.

2020: Description of Diamond ACS. Certifications

According to information for December, 2020 Diamond ACS supports operating systems families Windows and Linux and is compatible to a range of program and hardware components of other information security facility producers.

Diamond ACS is certified as security protection and allows to bring an automated system into accord with requirements of laws of the Russian Federation and requirements of regulating and methodical documents in the field of data protection, including:

• Order of FSTEC No. 17 and No. 21;
• No. 98-FZ (about a trade secret);
• No. 152-FZ (about personal data);
• No. 5485-1-FZ (about the state secret);
• Service station of BR (standard  of the Bank of Russia).

Diamond ACS gives the chance to react quickly to the growing threats by means of a single system of management and high performance of security kernel. The single system of management of security allows to formulate uniform security policy for all protected network in the general terms and to quickly apply it to the managed systems. Such approach allows to cope with the growing load of the divisions which are responsible for security and to increase security of systems.

The management system is constructed by the hierarchical principle, supports integration with directory services  of Microsoft Active Directory and provides the centralized deployment of agents of security means  of AD.

2016

Integration of technology of Aladdin R.D.

On November 29, 2016 the Aladdin R.D. company and TSS announced the project of integration of the products Diamond ACS and ASEDrive Bio IIIe Combo.

The option of authentication of users on a fingerprint and a smart card from Aladdin R.D. is added to the structure of Diamond ACS. It will help to raise the security level at an input of users in a system that is important in the organizations using Diamond ACS for information system protection where increased requirements to access control are imposed.

The solution is implemented by means of the ASEDrive Bio IIIe Combo card reader from Aladdin R.D. company. The ASEDrive Bio IIIe Combo device is compatible to Diamond ACS software, starting with version 3.19.2.7.

For November 29, 2016 Diamond ACS is the only certified control system and access isolation with the integrated possibility of biometric access control, the company vendor stated.

Possibilities of Diamond ACS

According to information for December, 2016 in the Diamond ACS security tool the Deep Virtual Secure technology is used, it helps to provide protection against the threats connected with hardware virtualization and to provide access to circuits of a different confidentiality level. Deep Virtual Secure provides low-level filtering of requests of access through a control system independent of regular means of access isolation of the operating system.

Diamond ACS supports operating systems: Windows (including XP Vista 7 8 8.1) and Linux (2.6+).

The complex is compatible to a range of program and hardware components of other information security facility producers.

At the heart of all complex the single system of management of security which is formulating uniform security policy for all protected network in the general terms and quickly applying it to the managed systems is used.
