Teradata Listener is the autonomous software product for input, processing and distribution of data streams.
On October 20, 2015 the Teradata company announced a release of the software[1].
The program "listens" to data in real time, at the same time tracing a set of the data streams arriving from sensors and from Internet of Things worldwide with the subsequent information transfer to the different platforms which are a part of an analytical ecosystem.

Software allows data transmission in Hadoop, Teradata Aster Analytics, Teradata Database and other platforms. Data transmission in the Teradata Integrated Big Data Platform 1800 platform allows to get access to large volumes of information, using the built-in support of the JSON format (Java Script Object Notation).
The data transferred to the Hadoop platform can be exposed to the analysis at the required level using the module of multifunction profound data analysis Teradata Aster Analytics on Hadoop.
