2019: The VR project presentation in "The museum of modern history of Russia"

On December 7, 2019 in the Museum of modern history of Russia the presentation of the immersive RIA Novosti project "The museum of the disappeared pictures" took place. His visitors could get acquainted with virtual reconstruction of seventeen models of the Russian art destroyed, burned, stolen or missing during fighting.

According to the company, The Museum of the Disappeared Pictures VR project is the space, full-fledged multimedia stories telling about the fate of masterpieces. Interactive elements open the artist's intention, "sound" a plot of the work and "recover" it. In addition to works of such artists as Ayvazovsky, Kandinsky, Korovin, Vereshchagin, are provided two disappeared icons and the wooden temple of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Kondopoga which burned down in 2018 to exposures of the virtual museum. The total cost of works, VR-reconstruction of which can be seen in the museum, makes several million euros.

For the history the mankind lost hundreds of thousands of cloths, icons, architecture masterpieces. We used the Russian and international registers, old directories of Rosokhrankultura base MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS.
