2025: Service Launch
The new service "Trademark Registration" has been launched on the МСП.РФ platform for small and medium-sized businesses, which will allow entrepreneurs to issue trademarks in a simplified manner without the need to go beyond the digital environment. The Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent), together with the SME Corporation, announced the start of the project on February 26, 2025.
The launch of intellectual property services is a joint development of specialists from Rospatent and the SME Corporation within the framework of the agreement, which was signed in 2024 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Alexander Isaevich, Director General of the SME Corporation, noted that expanding the opportunities for obtaining Rospatent services on the Digital Platform helps entrepreneurs get legal protection for the trademarks they use, which is a mechanism for protecting their intellectual property. The platform user can receive step-by-step instructions on how to register a trademark for products or services.
The main advantage of the new service is its convenience - users do not need to follow various links, since all functionality is available on the same site. Currently, using the "Trademark Registration" service on the МСП.РФ platform, you can submit an application, and in the future it will be possible to track the status of its consideration in Rospatent.
Rospatent is developing a digital infrastructure for developers and businesses to simplify and speed up work with intellectual property and intangible assets. The launch and development of our services on the МСП.РФ Digital Platform is another step in this direction, - said the head of Rospatent Yuri Zubov. |
According to the head of the department, in addition to "Registration of the trademark," in the future it is planned to integrate public services into the platform to provide the right to use the trademark under the license agreement and extend the validity of the exclusive right to the trademark.[1]
